The Lab members including Dr. Panov, Dr. Vijay, and 4 students were invited by Hyun-Jin Yun who is the principal engineer in Merck and Ph.D. course in our Lab. We visited Signiel hotel in 76th floor of Lotte tower in Jamsil, Seoul for joining the 18th Merck Display Insight. In the forum, there were many interesting talks with respect to the display materials and its novel application such as liquid crystal antenna. Also, Yoon-Sung Chung who is the vice president of analysis and research of IHS markit gave a nice talk which were the profound discussion for Korean display industry and market. The hotel where the forum was held was very nice and beautiful place because the view from the 76th floor was great (We can recognize Sungnam city and Yongin city from that floor. Even for some places such as Olympic park near Jamsil, we can see it. The dinner was also fantastic. There were classy and delicious dishes. We really enjoyed the forum and came back with big happy. Thank you for Hyun-Jin Yoon for inviting us.
