Boosting Job Performance of Customs Service in the Kyrgyz Republic
Kalybek Akmatov e-Governnance Center, Government of the Kyrgyz Republic Hwa Yeon Kim Sungkyunkwan University, Korea Sung Min Park Sungkyunkwan University, Korea Abstract The primary objective of this study is to investigate the effects of level of readiness to electronic human resource management (E-HRM) applications of the State Customs Service under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic (SCS), looking into the perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and behavioral intention which are placed among the basic variables of Technology Acceptance Model. This study also tests on their mediation role on the impact of transformational leadership, PSM, on job performance. Furthermore, the study looked at the direct impact of the predictor variables—transformational leadership, PSM on the outcome variables. And then measures the moderation impact of organizational culture and structure in the hypothesized model. The data of this survey were gathered from the Central office of the State Customs Service under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic. The questionnaire was prepared by taking the advantages of various studies for the sub-dimensions of organizational readiness and for technology acceptance scale questions Davis’ Technology Acceptance Model is used. The study found that E-HRM applications such as perceived usefulness, ease of use and behavioral intention to use variables positively affect job performance. The results of the study were discussed and presented theoretical and practical implications for the State Customs Service of Kyrgyz Republic to adapt.
