본 강좌는 서구의 문화와 정치적 집단에서 나타나는 정치적 집단과 문화의 주요한 흐름에 대한 개관이다. 이 과목은 서구의 현대와 미래의 발전에 대한 이해를 동 시대의 학생들에게 제공하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다.

This course is a survey of the major forces that have collectively constitute the political constellation and culture of the West. The aim of the course is to help the contemporary student understand the contemporary West and its future development.
